Ruud Delwel is a professor of Molecular Leukemogenesis at the Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, Netherlands. He is also the abstract reviewer for annual meetings of the American Society for Hematology (ASH) and European Hematology Association (EHA) as well as Member of the program committee of the EHA and Member of the scientific committee of the Dutch Cancer Foundation. His research aims at the understanding of mechanisms of aberrant genetic and epigenetic regulation of acute myeloid leukemia (AML)such as Dissection of epigenomic alterations in human AML, Defective regulation of CEBPA expression in AML, Defective regulation of EVI1 expression in AML: towards mechanism based treatment of refractory leukemia, and Functional consequences of EVI1 protein expression in AML: Proteomics and targeting.
