Mark Saum

Mark is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in both cloud and traditional IT infrastructure designs. He combines a strong understanding of business, the ability to see the big picture and the hands-on technical skills of an engineer. He has extensive experience in both large high transaction environments, with architecture roles at industry leaders as well as high-growth start-ups. He excels at complex architecture projects, DevOps transformations, solution implementations, mergers and acquisitions and IT consolidation. He is a leader recognized leader in the DevOps movement, as one of the core founders of DevOpsDays Dallas. Mark served as a founding partner and both CIO and CISO at ModoPayments, LLC, a fast-growing payments startup based in Richardson, Texas. Mark also served as CISO of DirectStream, LLC a Colorado Springs, CO based supercomputing company founded by Seymour Cray which builds one of the most secure computing platforms on the planet.
