Pr Shengping Li is Vice President of the Sun Yat-Sen University Cancer Center and Professor of Surgery in the Department of Hepatobiliary Oncology. He was trained as a post-doctoral research fellow in the USA, at the University of Michigan from 2001 to 2003. He has received many awards through the years, such as the Thirst Prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award in 2009 and the Second Prize of Chinese Universities Scientific and Technological Promoting Award in 2001. Pr Li’s research focus on Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic carcinoma multidisciplinary management, Hepatocellular carcinoma immunology and immunotherapy, Genetic research and genetherapy, as well as Cancer stem cells research.
